We’re proud to share that our CEO, Patricia Estwick, recently featured on Episode 43 of the Global Credit Union Podcast by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU).

In this episode, Patricia discussed the incredible efforts made by the Cayman Islands Civil Service Association Cooperative Credit Union Ltd. to challenge and successfully stop the implementation of a burdensome $200,000 annual registration fee proposed in a consultation paper by the Cayman Islands’ Ministry of Financial Services.

Through a combination of grassroots advocacy, mobilization of employees, directors, and members, and the support of the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions (CCCU) and WOCCU’s International Advocacy team, this proposal was effectively removed.
